AMMONIUM SULPHATE

Ammonium Sulphate provides an optimum nutritional source which is easy to mix and use. In hydroponic crops, its use is limited to a maximum of 15%-20% of the total fraction of nitrogen, the remaining being nitric nitrogen. It can be applied in different ways: broadcasting, side dressing, and by irrigation water where its high solubility allows it to be used for fertigation and underground which is applied in bands next to or under the seeds. ADVANTAGES OF AMMONIUM SULPHATE: Improves the organic content of the soil – it provides a quantity of nitrogen in the form of nitrate which improves the physical and chemical properties of the soil. It favors assimilation of nutrients by plants – it helps improve the availability of nutrients for plant development, improving growth and production. Increase drought tolerance – it increases the crop resistance to lack of moisture due to its strong bactericidal and fungicidal properties. Reduces the cost of foliar application and improves the strength of growing plants. Improve food quality – accelerating stem development and improving appearance and taste of agricultural produce. Reduce pest damage – lowering the incidence of pests by facilitating the absorption of the nutrients available in the soil.
